About
Leonard Bertaux + Chris Iwerks met in 1979 while working together as designers in the office of Graham Gund in Cambridge. Over the past 27 years Bertaux and Iwerks have built distinguished architecture careers in Boston, authoring several award-winning public buildings in the city and mentoring dozens of young architects who have since become valuable contributors at other firms. The intent of Bertaux + Iwerks is to build on the experience and wisdom they have gained over the past 30 years. Our vision is to offer a new way of thinking and delivering architectural services - working personally and strategically with clients to integrate stakeholder needs and desired outcomes within a framework of sustainable design principles.
